The GIFT program, a special needs program, has been established at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral School in Houma, LA.  This program is the Foundation's primary endeavor and is the inspiration for the Foundation's creation. The name was decided upon as a result of Rhoda’s love for gifting and simply because children of all abilities are undeniable gifts from God.  What an honor it is to aid in establishing the GIFT program through a foundation in Rhoda’s name at a school that she so greatly loved.

The Gift Program at St. Francis de Sales School began in the 2021-2022 school year and is going very well! Six students were enrolled in the program at the start, and we hope for it to continue to grow. Our long term goal is to provide special needs children of various abilities access to a safe, loving, fully accommodating, and inclusive Catholic education within our community.
